John Wallace a.k.a "Maddog"
DOB - March 25, 1944
1st marathon – Silver State Marathon, Reno, NV Sept 19, 1982
PR Marathon – Twin Cities, Minneapolis. MN 1988 – 2:58:03

Has run all 50 states + DC, all 13 provinces and territories of Canada, all 7 continents and 57 countries. Current goal is to complete all countries in Europe – 2 left. Lives on Longboat Key, Florida in the winter where he trains on very flat bike paths at sea level. Lives in Silverthorne, Colorado in the Rocky Mountains in the summers at an elevation of 9,000 feet. He trains on bike paths and mountain trails between 9,000 to 10,000 feet. For extra hill work and altitude training he loves to run to the summit of Colorado’s ‘Fourteeners’ – mountain peaks 14,000 feet and higher.

Travels to most races with Nicole, his wife/sports manager of 35 years.
